A couple of people have pointed out my baby’s head shape hasn’t returned “normal” yet, does this look normal for 3 weeks, he’s seen the health visitor and paediatrician for severe reflux and neither have said anything (mind you they didn’t specifically look at his head shape!)
He’s 3 weeks old and vary rarely sleeps on the back of his head, always to either side.

Did you conceive naturally?

AnyFucker · 02/02/2023 09:14

I can’t see a problem 🧐

cunderthunt1 · 02/02/2023 09:14

Lbthi2003 · 02/02/2023 09:29

Yh I mean I'm no doctor but I don't see an issue I wouldn't worry!

Out of interest, did you have some serious heartburn during your pregnancy with all that hair?😂 my little one was born like that too and I was popping rennies like tic tacs

Congratulations btw x

Congratulations

That looks normal. In a quick unassisted labour it won’t have been squished much so nothing to go back to.

And in my experience if paeds etc think he has a weird looking head they definitely tell you and monitor it.

What does your sons head look like now? It's hard to see with all the hair, but this might be a patent mendosal suture, which is not in itself concerning. If you're still curious or in any way concerned, I recommend the Noggin Doctor's Plagiocephaly and Torticollis Discussion Board on Facebook - its run by a paediatric craniofacial plastic surgeon and he will tell you, or answer any questions for free.
