New glasses question

My DD has her first pair of glasses but a very strong long sighted prescription. She has to wear them all the time but is telling us that far away is really fuzzy, is this normal? When she first put them on she was amazed at what she could see, but as the day has gone on, she can't seem to see long distance. Is it a matter of getting used to them/waiting for her eyes to adjust and relax? Any advice would be great 😊

I would go back to the opticians and let them know. Sometimes the glasses are not sitting correctly on your face and need to be adjusted. Sometimes the lab has made an error and the lens isn’t exactly to the prescription. Any adjustments or corrections …including new lenses if needed should be free of charge.

DD is long sighted. When she had this problem with contacts it was about her astigmatism I think. Definitely go back.
