Tonsilitis and vomiting - worried mum

Sorry it's a bit of a long one. Wondering if anyone has some advice...

My 4year old son started vomiting on 16/01 with low grade fever, I assumed it was like a tummy bug so just kept him eating plain foods, sipping water etc. vomiting continued but became reduced.
On 20/01 he vomited blood so we went straight to A&E only to find he had tonsilitis! (again, he gets it regularly on a waiting list to see ENT) I was completely shocked as he had not complained of a sore throat, no coughing, no swelling to neck, none of his usual signs. We were given antibiotics & sent home spending most of the weekend in bed & spiking temp, sipping cold water and squash.

He's gotten a lot better since, perked up during the day, fever has come down completely but he's still vomiting every night?! Always around 1am wakes up, vomits a light brown/milk chocolate coloured vomit & then happily goes back to sleep. I brought him to GP on 23/01 as I am really concerned about the continued vomiting, GP was very dismissive saying it's the tonsilitis causing the vomiting, but he's had it probably 8/9times before & never been vomiting...certainly not for 10days!!!

He has one day left on antibiotics, having looked at his tonsils they have gone down and are less angry looking.

Should I be concerned about the vomiting continuing? Would I be overreacting by taking him back to GP regarding the vomiting? Poor thing has lost 4kg since this started, I just feel it's gone on too long and worried there might be something else going on?

I ask as my son vomited every night and it turned out to be a urine infection much to my surprise!
Soon as he had AB for it the vomiting stopped

@Raindropsdrop oh interesting? I wouldn't of even thought of that!
He's finished the antibiotics as of today so perhaps of the vomiting continues that may be worth going back to GP about incase we need more 😩
