Potential measles

So DS had a high fever at the end of last week and over the weekend. He also threw up a few times and has had some diarrhoea and completely lost his appetite.

That has no passed but he has now developed pale red spots on his face and torso, including behind his ears. They do look like some photos of measles online so I’m starting to worry that’s what it is. He has had one dose of his MMR so far so I’m wondering if he has mild measles. We are not at home so can’t see our GP so am waiting for 111 to call me back, but just wondering if anyone has developed anything similar.

The internet says he should have cold symptoms before showing spots and he didn’t have that, but did have a high fever.

do you have a picture of
the spots?
how is his temperature now? And has d&v stopped?
measles normally = red whites of eyes, how do his eyes look?

Thank you. He’s napping now but I’ll take a picture when he wakes and post it.

D&V has stopped. And his temperature is back to normal. He had a high temp of 40-41 degrees over Thursday to yesterday morning. Vomiting on Friday and Saturday and diarrhoea over Friday to yesterday. All that has now stopped and he’s back to normal, but he started to develop a few very faint spots on forehead, cheeks and behind ears yesterday. By the evening he had them on his body and then today they are more prominent in colour, although still very faint but a bit more red.

Eyes are fine. He seems completely fine in himself.

He’s 22 months. I’m wondering if it’s a very mild case of measles or rubella because he is partially vaccinated. We are in London where there has been a measles outbreak over the past year. I’ll post a picture when he wakes.
