Can anyone share their experience with a child that doesn’t grow well?
My second girl is 17 months now and although she started at birth around the 50th percentile for weight she’s now below the 9th, meaning she’ll fall off the growth chart soon. Her height is also below 9th percentile. She’s mostly still in 9-12 months clothes and still hasn’t outgrown her first pair of shoes. I remember my first daughter would outgrow shoes weithin 2-3 months at that age. She’s eating alright, I think, nursery also says that. And she’s very active and meeting all of her milestones, just tiny and skinny.
I’m planning to contact the GP next week. Just wondered what to expect. Will they just give me feeding advice or actually check her? Anyone been through this?
