Itchy Rash - Advice welcome please!

Hello.

DD is 8.5 months and has developed oral thrush following on from a course of antibiotics. She had a dribble rash last week under her chin which appears to now have spread and turned into small raised red bumps. Over the weekend we’ve had next to no sleep as she seems to be uncomfortable and trying to itch it almost 24/7. I’ve tried sudocrem and epaderm but she’s still itchy and it has spread since using.
Fast forward to today; I’ve been to see the GP who couldn’t have been less pleased to see us if he tried! He said it’s milia, nothing to worry about and basically keep moisturising/deal with it. But everything I read online says milia isn’t itchy?! I’ve attached a picture.

Please help - we’re both exhausted from being up all night and I hate seeing her uncomfortable and so itchy.

Itchy Rash - Advice welcome please!

Sorry I do not know - but could it just be general allergy symptoms - have you changed washing powder or added anything new to her diet?

I would treat as an allergy anyway as what harm can it do - so perhaps oat baths and maybe some soothing cream.

Poor her, poor you Flowers

Thank you for coming back to me. Well funnily enough I have a new washing machine and wasn’t sure how it was working so think some conditioner may have mixed (I use fairy for baby) but would’ve only been a tiny amount and I rinsed after.

She has CMPA but has been on the formula for months now, also barely eats any food so not sure if it’s that…don’t think I’ve given any ‘new’ foods recently.

Thank you, have just ordered some calamine lotion to arrive tomorrow and gave her some antihistamine today (I asked GP for a prescription to help with the itching). Fingers crossed it clears up but have noticed a few more of them when I put her to bed now on her back. X
