Spots on baby *pics*

Hi- I'm going to call the gp in the morning but as a ftm just wanted to get an opinion off those more experienced.

My 8 month old baby boy had a random spot near his nipple before Christmas, cleared up in a day or 2 didn't think anything of it. Past couple days he's had another one come up near his nipple again and one on his back. They look very sore but don't seem to be bothering him. He's otherwise fine in himself, no temp or anything. Any idea what's causing them? Could it be chicken pox? Or do babies just get random spots sometimes?

Almost want to say bites with a bit of a reaction to them, but not certain.

Is it a vesicle- it could be molluscum. If it is the red around the base might indicate an immune response and that it is clearing up.

My daughters molluscum went on and on and on. She had crops on different sites of her body and they all cleared up at different times at their own pace. My son has one or two spots and that was it.
