Vomiting no other symptoms

Hi all

2 year old DD has been vomiting all night and this morning.

I thought it might just be something she'd eaten, but she isn't keeping anything down.

She's managed a few sips of water and half a digestive biscuit which have stayed down. She ate cereal this morning but puked it all back up within minutes.

She doesn't have a fever (thankfully!).

Does anyone have any other tips on helping her feel better?

Don’t give her lots of food, just enough to stay down.

I found milk made mine sick, stick to water and weak squash

She vomited the biscuit and water back up 😭

Any foods that will stay down?
If I remember from my morning sickness days, dry foods, ginger?

I had this over Christmas. I just wanted to rest a lot. Little sips of water. After quite a long time (about 6 hours) I braved a bit of toast, but I didn’t fancy a proper meal for a few days.

I’d concentrate on keeping water down first, just sips, not mouths full

Coffeecreams · 12/01/2023 08:48

I’d not give her anything to eat for a good few hours, unless she’s asking for it, just water and maybe an ice lolly,

Okay thanks everyone. No food it is. Just water.
