Vaginal discharge 6 year old

My dd age 6 has had 10 days of white/pale yellow heavy discharge in her knickers. She isn’t sore or itching but it’s obviously not right. I suspect the bubble bath she got for Christmas (only used once) upset her and has caused some kind of fungal infection. We have already stopped using all soap products down there, she is showering to wash the rest of her body and sitting in a bath with bicarbonate of soda in the water each night (following advice for vulvovaginitis online) but no improvement.

What next? Do I attempt to get a drs appointment or does the pharmacy sell something that will help? I wonder what the likely outcome is if we manage to see the GP - I am very happy for her to miss the morning off school if they’re going to take a swab and prescribe something to sort it but if I’m going to join the bun fight for an appointment to be told it will go on its own having missed a morning off work/school I’ll be unamused, given it’s causing no discomfort. Anyone shed any light for me? Thanks.

@Jench123 my dd used to get this whenever we used shower gel or bath bombs etc. anything really. Canesten always cleared it up straight away

Hi - definitely get to the doctor they will take a swab and likely prescribe antibiotics. It was strep A but in the vagina! Caught from school toilet (several girls ended up with it) and nothing to do with bubble bath. Unfortunately it got worse and really quite sore before it got better.
