My baby boy is 10 weeks and has always gained weight easily, he’s around 6kg/13lbs and up until Christmas had started drinking 1100ml a day.
Since Christmas he started crying and fussing during feeds and refusing the bottle and becoming very distressed, so much so that we could barely get him to drink.
Now he’s averaging 700ml a day and this requires us giving it to him very little and very often. The Dr has prescribed gaviscon but I don’t think it’s helping. I don’t have another HV appointment for a few weeks and she wasn’t keen to bring it forward but I’m really worried his weight is going to have dropped or not gained at all at the right momentum.
Has anyone else had the same problem and have any suggestions please?
