Hi there just wondering if anyone can advise. Basically my little boy had tonsillitis over Christmas, he didn't have a sore throat or fever (very strange) but the tonsils were HUGE, red and yellow patches on them, we made an appointment got in the next day luckily and nurse practitioner said it was the worst case she had seen in a while. He had also been snoring very loudly at night. We finished the antibiotics last Thursday and when checked they have calmed down considerably and the snoring has calmed down but there is still a small white patch on one of the tonsils but the thing that stands out the most is his voice? He is talking like he has a mouth full of sweets which is what initially caught my attention. Why is his voice still funny after finishing antibiotics? Does anyone have any experience of this? Thank u!!

I had septic throat a few years back..took 2 lots of antibiotics to clear it up..one of the yellow spots actually scabbed up and came off when I coughed. (Gross) it effected my voice too maybe he needs another course of antibiotics
