Is this a strawberry tongue? Had fever sore throat headache aching feeling like throat is itchy got an appointment at doctors later

Interested to know how you got on with the GP?

What did the GP say?
Childs tongue was like that and we were told not strawberry tongue

Was told it's not strawberry tongue

Interesting because my DS had the exact same and GP also said not strawberry tongue. So confusing to know what to look out for isn't it!

It is worrying they asking you to be on the look out for symptoms, and then when your child's poorly and got what looks like a strawberry tongue it isn't

Hello, thought this might help. DD 5 was diagnosed with strep A Christmas Day (had scarlet fever, sickness and impetigo). Impetigo came first, then sickness and finally scarlet fever. I’ve attached a photo of her tongue.
