Can't help but worry about my 6y/o

My DS is 6y/o and for the past week has had a virus. Symptoms have been: high temp which hit 40, cold symptoms, cough, hives rash and no appetite.

Now he's left with cold symptoms. His temp range is from 36.5 and 37.8. He's drink8ng fine but eating virtually nothing. I took him to A&E last week when he had the rash and was told to just wait it out.

My concerns are that he's just not himself. He's usually constantly on the go and is a very good eater - to the point I struggle to keep up with it. I know there's lots of viruses about and the whole house has been affected this past week. But, for him it's lingering. I just worry I'm missing something. When do you seek help for poor appetite? Or do you just leave it?

I've been told to stop worrying but I can't leave it. My anxiety is through the roof at the moment. So, I'm just looking for reassurance or to see if anyone can relate at the moment

I’m sorry to hear your little one is poorly. We’ve been going through the same with my 3 year old and I’ve spiralled big time with health anxiety over him 😣

@WorriedMumZZ I'm sorry to hear about your little one. It's horrible isn't it. I have terrible health anxiety and I'm trying to stop myself from googling all sorts. My boy was prescribed antibiotics this afternoon as he's been running a fever now for over a week. I'm hoping in a couple of days he'll be more or less back to his usual self.

Hope your little boy feels better soon x
