DS is 12 so not young and has had a cold. He's autistic and cannot blow his nose and not keen on anything like vicks or decongestants do we have to just ride colds out which is usually okay. He does have a calpol plugin for his room.
this time around he's been very congested which I think has led to congestion around his ears. I don't have much experience of era problems with children, thankfully they've never had many problems with them. Neither have had an ear infection before.
it doesn't seem to be causing him much pain. But it's causing him distress that his ears feel blocked and his hearing is muffled.
any tips? For a child who doesn't like any decongestant medicines or sprays or anything out the ordinary. Calpol and re calpol plug in is about his limit!
