Rash on cheeks! Please help!

DD (3.9) is on day 6 of antibiotics for STREP A & Scarlett Fever. High temps, sore throat and the fatigue seemed to disappear after 48 hours of being medicated however she keeps randomly getting these rashes appear on her face and a spike in temp every now and again.

She hasn't left the house since last Saturday morning. I don't understand what it could be. Surely not Scarlett fever still?

She has been extremely bunged up with a cold over the past few days which I assumed was a follow on from the strep.

Temp spiked at 39.8 at 7pm very randomly and rash appeared on cheeks.

Does anyone have any idea?!!! Please help I'm freaking out! Can't take much more illness!

Could be viral rash, I had this at the end of a really bad dose of flu. How is she in herself?

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor she seems fine in herself other than being bunged up. Hasn’t complained of being in any pain.

Just very random how her temp keeps spiking so high and cheeks keep rashing up without any warning signs. Especially after 6 days of antibiotics.

it’s making my anxiety go through the roof as I don’t know what’s causing it!

How many more days of antibiotics has she ?
I wonder if it’s an allergy to the antibiotics.

Personally if she's ok in herself I'd just see it as part of the illness, temps do go up and down throughout the day and it's normal to get flushed cheeks with them. I would definitely seek medical advice if temperature doesn't come down and she goes down hill.

I would say she’s have scarlet fever but not as severe with her being on antibiotics
