Is this strep A?

Son said he felt 'sleepy' this morning but has worsened as day has gone on.
Wanted me to carry him home from school
Fever / chills
Headache
Tummy pains and bad wind
Very sleepy - asked to go to bed at 5
Flushed cheeks
Temperature 39

Spoke to 111 and I'm waiting for a call back from local go within the hour but they haven't called yet .. cried because I'm so worried

Oh yes and headache and he also said he had shoulder pain earlier

I hope he feels better soon. I have no experience but I have read from a parent whose child was diagnosed with it that they had shoulder pain, but I imagine children get aches a lot when sick with other things as well. Hopefully 111 get back to you soon.

My 5 year old was Ill Tuesday. Sore neck, slept loads and a temperature. We went drs today to rule out strep. Had a good listen to his chest, examined throat ect. Dr was certain it's a viral
Infection going around. It's the at time of year but best to be safe
