Hiya im just looking for some info, peer support, stories really.
My daughter is 2 next month.
She has been diagnosed with hypermobility in both ankles and hips and also has a 1.5cm leg discrepancy. She has got insoles and having raised boot made but the physio rang today to say she is really concerned that it may be hip dysplasia given she was breech and the difference in leg creases and the leg length difference so she has referred us to hospital for urgent scans.
She never had any scans when she was born which apparently she should of had.

Has this happened to anybody else and if so what was the symptoms? Outcome ect?

Would really appreciate anybodies response.
Thank you

My son was referred for suspected hip dysplasia as a baby as his legs were asymmetric (one leg was fatter than the other). His hips were checked with an ultrasound and were fine.

My daughter was referred aged 8 for a hip xray. She is hypermobile, had hip pain and an abnormal range of movement, especially with one hip. Her x ray was also clear.

Thanks for the reply @LovelyDayInnit
I am hoping they are just doing it to rule it out and it comes to nothing
