I just wondered if there are any health professionals on here. We are due to meet up with a relative this weekend whose daughter is on her 2nd dose of antibiotics for tonsillitis in 2 weeks. Is it right that she is not contagious after 24 hours of antibiotics? I have a toddler and am trying not to buy into any hysteria but having spent a lot of time with him in hospital last year, I don't want to run any risks.

That's what they say yes.
After 24hours from getting the 1st lot in to their system, they can return to school or work, whatever. I'd also check before hand that their daughter is well enough in herself too, no temp etc. You'll be fine to mix x
