Ds12 got again sore next to his mouth. Last one was couple of months ago and it healed but took weeks to do so. Now I read you can get antibiotics cream from gp for that. Anyone experience on these creams?

Worked for my DS half the rugby teams at the club caught it. Just get it if you're sure it's impetigo

Impetigo is caused by Strep A bacteria.

yes you can get antibiotic cream, you need a prescription from the GP.

He isn't I'll and wasn't last time either. Maybe it's herpes. Anyway I give gp a call next week. I had something similar in exactly same spot when I was a child. I got cream and it healed quickly.

I got appointment and it's impetigo. He got oral antibiotics.
