Don’t panic- my son had scarlet fever in the summer, as did lots of other children, who were all fine within a few days. My son had antibiotics and it was sorted.if you think it is- call 111.

LoveReallyHurtsWithoutLube · 08/12/2022 21:20

If you’re at all concerned about your daughter’s health, ring 111 or go to A&E if you feel it’s an emergency. They can help you more than any randoms online.

Beepbeepenergy · 08/12/2022 21:23

It looks worse than some Google pics I’ve seen x

You need to call 111 and get medical advice. No one can help you here. Even if it is strawberry tongue, we can not tell you if she needs antibiotics.

Please get proper medical advice.

Have you taken her to the doctor for these symptoms?

Rowthe · 08/12/2022 21:27

To be honest that to looks completely normal to me.

But if you're worried ring 111

Ansumpasty · 08/12/2022 21:27

If your daughter isn’t poorly, then no, that looks like a normal tongue to me.

If she has other symptoms then get her checked out.

unambiguousbeard · 08/12/2022 21:27

Looks like normal toddler tongue to me. Plus she doesn’t have scarlet fever symptoms by the sound of it

Beepbeepenergy · 08/12/2022 21:29

I did take her about a week into been unwell and was just told yes she had a sore throat as it was red but was just told all toddlers are catching bugs and that was that

OP posts:
Beepbeepenergy · 08/12/2022 21:30

She not had any rashes

If she's been unwell for a month have you had her seen too?
In the space of 5 weeks my daughter has had an ear and chest infection! Lots of bugs going around! Never had antibiotics in her life until 5 weeks ago! Starting school and lots of bugs!
