0.4 centile for height

DD has dropped to th 0.4 centile for height (she's under 2 and only grown 3cm in 6 months)

Anyone else have such a tiny kid- and did it turn out to be just genetic or something else affecting growth?

Me and her dad are small so she was never gonna be a giant but she barely grows

Hey!! Just wondering how you're getting on? Similar story here. He's 9 months and never been above 0.4th. We had IUGR but expected him to start catching up by now. I'm average height and dad is tall at 6ft 2 so I don't know what's going on?! :(

IUGR here, my son was on 0.02 centile until he was about 1, he's 4 now and on 96th 😅

@SixKeys oh wow that's great!! When did he start to catch up? We're 9 months here and still nothing 😩 I feel like every meal and milk feed is a battle and so stressful it can't be nice for him 😢

@SixKeys oh sorry you said- when he was about one. That's good to know. I'll keeep going. The doctor is running some tests but hopefully they come back negative and this will happen for us too xx

She wasn't small for gestational age, but is still growing along rh 0.4th centile.

We've finally seen a pediatrician - he wasn't massively worried, but has booked a follow up for 6 months. She is just more than 2 SDs from mid parental height
