Only these two are there, it's in front of an armpit.
I realise the photo looks like a face, I cropped a lot of the pic out

Possibly yes.
Any more since posting this appeared? When did these appear?

Sux2buthen · 07/12/2022 21:04

This morning. There's another like this on the back and a couple of teeny red dots that may or may not get worse, I just assumed there would be more or be quicker 🤔
Her brother has two teeny ones as well. They are well in themselves, I just don't want to make them stay home if it's not necessary. Obviously they've stayed in and I'll be keeping them in until I know

Is the more chicken pox like? Couldn't get a doctor appt today for love not money . Im not familiar with chickenpox and I'm paranoid about Strep/ impetigo, I admit I'm probably being over concerned but they're my kids

That does look like chicken pox small blisters keep an eye on them if still concerned try your Drs again tomorrow.

Senso21 · 08/12/2022 19:25

I’d say they are pox. Don’t need to contact GP for it but if you are unsure if they are or not (especially if they aren’t multiplying before you’re eyes like pox usually do) a pharmacist can take a quick look and confirm x

Thankyou. I think it's also the lack of spread that's surprising me, I'm glad that it's not bad obviously though.

My son only had several on his legs and one on his chest when he had. Whereas my other DS was covered head to toe. They look like pox x

kegofcoffee · 09/12/2022 08:49

Definitely looks like pox and not impetigo.

My DDs impetigo started like pimples and then goes more angry. It didn't have a hard round edge it radiated more.

My sons looked like this the other day but was completely fine in himself other than a slight sore throat that he stopped groaning about after a day (he's 9) he had no temp or rash or anything else. So I assumed it was viral. I have seen a couple of other posts with tongues like my DS and these pictures and have been told it's possibly ST. My sons wasn't bumpy or anything. Just seemed flat red dots. But they went after a couple of days and I didn't seek advice as he was OK. I hope they're OK OP xx

My older one is still in bed she's only 5 and she's feeling bad. She's awake just staring. Waiting for the doctor to call me back and hopefully tell me I'm being a silly billy

You can never be a silly Billy when it comes to our babies. It's so much better to be safer than sorry. Keep us updated - I hope they perk up soon xx

Sux2buthen · 09/12/2022 10:55

Docs were lovely, ruled out strep so I'm happy with that. Just going to look after everyone until they feel better Flowers
