Strep A is a bacteria that lives on skin and throat. It can cause scarlet fever, impetigo, toxic shock syndrome and invasive group a strep (igas); which happens when the bacteria moves to the bloodstream or lungs

Following

I currently have all my 5 children, sick today and myself and feel like we are getting worse with streaming noise and cold, coughs, breathing difficulties, sweating, high fevers, nausea and wheezy, hot body but freezing feet. Really hoping it's not strep a and just a chest infection. But we are all feeling really dreadful and I am heavily pregnant which isnt great either. Definitely seeing the doctor today by hook or by crook !!!!!

As said previously strep is a bacteria when can cause scarlet fever.

My child who was 3 at the time many years ago had strep which changed in scarlet fever

Antibiotics and all was good.

A tongue which looms like a strawberry is a clear indication of scarlet fever

All very treatable.
