Hello all,

I'm completing a project at university about a product to reduce dehydration in children (specifically primary school age). I've created a short survey for market research and I would be very grateful if anyone would submit a response (it takes less than 5 minutes to complete!). Please find the survey at the link below.

Have a lovely day!

Hi Proneu82!

Yes!

A UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey survey suggests that 25% of children drink less than one glass of water a day with meals. Research indicates that mild dehydration (1% body weight loss) can lead to reductions in concentration and cognitive function in children.

Many parents are too busy to monitor their child's water intake or simply are unaware of the effects that dehydration has on cognition. Initial responses to my survey also suggest that many schools are not taking the initiative to monitor water intake in the same manner that they monitor what a child has in their lunchbox.
