Keep me company - vomiting baby

Only two days in nursery this week was enough to pick up the next round of illness.

Insomniacs, fellow wakeful parents, night shift workers, anyone. Keep me company on what looks to be a long night! We are both covered in his puke, we’ve run out of sleeping bags and soon towels and I’m trying not to think about when the rest of us will come down with it.

Maybe you can organise synchronised puking when the rest of you get it.

In all seriousness I hope baby feels better soon the poor sausage.

I'm up, 2 year old has vomited all over my bed and the landing, 4 year old has a ear infection and 22 year old has chest infection. Hope your baby is better soon, it's been a long night here!

My toddler had this a week ago. She woke up absolutely covered in sick. Lumps in her hair and everything. I had to bath her at midnight. She was sick a few more times that night, then once more in the morning. She slept in with me that night and I didn't get sick, I just felt nauseous. She then had diarrhoea for 2-3 days and hardly ate, and then was better!

I hope your little boy is better as quickly as my little girl was, and hope you don't get it.

She's just come in to me again to disturb my nights sleep, when my 7 week old is sleeping beautifully! 😩

@dolor that would be quite a spectacle.

@onwardandupwards oh lord that’s a dreadful night, I hope all feel better soon.

@CraazyCatLady exactly the same here but I only did a flannel wash. Desperately hoping to avoid, I really despise being nausea. Glad your girl is better it’s always such a relief when they come through it.

He had a load of breastmilk and chucked it all up immediately so we are down to sips of water. He has dozed off on me in the chair in his room. Unfortunately he has a fluffy rug by his cot which bore the brunt. I’ll try the bicarbonate from the last bug.
