Vomitted once tail end of virus?

Would you think it's a bug or just from the virus she already has?

shes had a nasty virus since Thursday, sore throat, headache, sniffles, headache lethargy and off food, she's been sleeping a lot and now has an annoying cough. I thought she was better today but she's vomitted once this evening. It was after a massive crying then coughing fit so not sure whether I would put it down to that or a new sickness bug? She's not been out in days so I can't imagine she's picked up a bug from nowhere? No one else has symptoms of any virus, it's been isolated to Dd.

I was planning to send her back to school tomorrow and now she's vomitted I can't but we are due to see family that are moving away in a few days tomorrow evening! Not sure what to do! I honestly thought she was better 😭

It could have been because she coughed too much, I’m not 100% sure but I think that if it’s a one off vomit then it’s not technically treated as a bug but it might be worth checking with her school. There’s so much around at the moment 🥴

@Userno36367363 bless her! How old is she? But, as @Wam90 said, it's likely to be because she was coughing so much. Sometimes, my DC can come down with a bug and not pass it on to each other / anyone else, which may be what your DD has. My nephew had this bug and it totally knocked him for 6 - he couldn't eat for 3 days and was so poorly. After a week or so, he was much better - hoping it's the same for your LO

Sounds like what we have- Toddler sick once and sent home from nursery. Fine in himself though- he had a nasty cough last week. I feel terrible though- shivery, aches and nausea.
