Baby rash

Has anyone's baby had a similar rash. My son is 16 months. We went to the doctors yesterday And got antibiotics for impetigo. On his face. I mentioned he had this rash & had nosebleeds. The Dr saw bruises on his shins (crawling). She referred us for blood tests but we have to wait 3 weeks. Should I be worried? She's spoke with the hospital today & they said it doesn't need to be sooner. He also has mouth ulcers, but is teething.

He's had chicken pox and she said it isn't eczema but didn't actually say what it was.

Because you've mentioned a rash on the face and mouth ulcers I'm inclined to put forward hand foot and mouth as a suggestion.

Pressed send too early.. to add - wouldn't worry completely being that you've been sent for bloods. HFM will clear by itself if it is that. You don't generally speaking just get the rash on the hands feet and mouth necessarily. My LB had them in his nappy area and on his legs.
That being said, if it's anything more sinister then bloods should pick it up x
