Is something running rampant? Help!

Is there something going round at the moment?!
My ds who is 3 has had on and off D&V for 2 weeks now.
Started with vomit, then cleared, then a few days later it was a temp and lethargy, then it went back to vomit, then diarrhoea.
Now he coughs and vomits at least once a night.
I cant keep this up, working from home while he is happy and cheerful in the day, dealing with sickness overnight, I have a family funeral early next week.
My friends little one who is a similar age seems to have started with something similar towards the end of last week but she lives over an hour away so not caught it from us.
It feels like there is something spreading in this age group right now as I think nursery have a lot of kids going home sick.

I definitely think there’s something like this going round, my cousins posted on her Facebook the other day that her little boy has had sickness on and off for 3 weeks, with 24 to 48 hours between each episode of sickness.

my own little one was sick Friday night, sick Saturday night and Sunday morning. Now he’s got a high temp and cough since Sunday! It’s relentless. So many seem to be off of nursery with something similar too.
