Vomiting bug or developing intolerance?

Hi all,

I’m going to try and keep this quick, but we’ll see how that goes!

Last night at bed time, my LG was sick after having her bedtime milk. Like…it went everywhere. It was not just a little dribble of milk…there was a lot of it. But, she vomited and then was her usual self. Crawling around, chatting to us etc and you wouldn’t have known she had been sick unless you looked at me (covered head to toe!)

She has just done the same thing this evening. But has been completely fine during the day. She has eaten normally, drunk normally etc. Just after her milk, threw up everywhere.

Is it a bug? Or can they develop intolerances (like milk) overtime? I’m a bit worried - do I need to be?

It could just be a bug. If it were an intolerance you'd maybe get stomach pains, bloating and mucus in the poo. Have you had any of those?

Maybe she just needs less milk at bedtime.
What age is she?

Not that I can tell. She's had a couple of loose poo's but not mucus-ey. Is it common for them to only vomit at night with a bug?

She didn't take much either day, but we'll definitely give that a go.

She's 14 months but has always enjoyed her milk before bed time.

My LO developed a tendency to vomit up her bedtime milk around that age. She loved having it but we had to cut it down to max about 90ml or she’d vomit it back up. For her it wasn’t a bug or a dairy intolerance (now 2.5), just a random thing! Hopefully the same for yours.
