Does this sound like a UTI?

DD is nearly 4 and for the past few days keeps urgently needing a wee but when she gets to the toilet she sits there saying it won’t come out. She is going to the toilet much more frequently than normal but doesn’t have a temperature or any other symptoms really. Although she is occasionally saying she has a tummy ache it’s not constant and she has been irritable the last few days. I’m wondering whether to phone 111 or wait for a gp appointment tomorrow? DH thinks there is nothing wrong and I’m overreacting! What do you think?

Personally I would take her to see a GP asap. I recently had a UTI which progressed rapidly to a kidney infection and despite antibiotics, I ended up with sepsis and in hospital. Get plenty of fluids down here and contact 111. She will need antibiotics.
