Is this chicken pox?

Hi!

Do these look like chicken pox? Noticed them on my dd this morning when getting her ready. I was working last night but dh said they weren't there at bedtime. They're just on her shoulder at the minute and a couple on her neck. Don't think they're bug bites because we haven't been anywhere buggy, no one else has any spots and cats aren't allowed in the kids rooms.

She's had a runny nose last week or so but not unwell. Thought it

Just don't want to take her out to the pharmacy if it is.

They do look like it, but they look a few days old! They could also be cat flea bites - just because the cat doesn’t go in her bedroom doesn’t mean their fleas wont bite her.
With chicken pox, you should see more blisters appearing throughout the day.

They don't look like new spots. They look a few days old and have been scratched or picked.

Could well be chickenpox. Flea bites tend to be on the ankles/legs

I agree they look older, she got herself ready yesterday morning so I didn't see her back then, I remember praising her for doing it so well.

It's entirely possible dh didn't notice, I wouldn't be surprised tbh. It just looks quite a savage flea attack if it is, I've had cats my whole life and not seen bites like that, plus ours are treated monthly too. It did cross my mind though
