Suspected Broken toe

DS (11) caught his little toe and the one next to it today when climbing on a rope net thing at a trampoline park. He complained it hurt but carried on playing etc for the next 2 hours. I looked at it another time and it didn't look swollen or bruised.

This evening I had another look as he is limping around and it is bruised coming down his foot a small way and a little swollen. So it could be broken but not badly. Do I just rest and ice and possibly tape it at home, or take him to have it checked at urgent care tomorrow?

Thanks

There is no treatment for little toe breaks- except wearing solid based shoes. If you want the confirmation, if they'll do an X-ray, absolutely go. If it's not numb, bent at a weird angle, and he's walking on it, I wouldn't (mine broke hers 2 weeks ago, confirmed on an X-ray because she was being dramatic 🤣)

Thanks, if it was my toe I wouldn't even think of going. I'll see how he is in the morning but will probably just treat at home.
