Sorry I'm advance for long post!
My DS is 6 weeks old, ever since birth he has been on mam bottles on a 0 teat as tends to be really greedy and faster teat would cause him to chock. He has always fed well on the bottle but we had loads of problems outside of this. He was diagnosed with silent reflux at 2 weeks old and then most recently suspected CMPA. Was prescribed aptamil pepti 1 and within 48hrs DS was a different baby, no screaming or crying, being able to be put down and not held constantly. All going swimmingly until one morning he started to scream and pull from the bottle but then wanted it back constantly. This resulted in 15 hours of no food and in hospital. 3 nights in hospital ended in a new milk neocate amino acid as DS also is lactose intolerant they suspect due to smelly wind and poo. He began to eat ahain but since that day of refusal he now throws his head around while eating and constantly unlatching from bottle and crying for it back. Someone's he will eat 4oz in 10'mins no issues, the next it's an hour later and I've barley got 3oz down him. We have increased teat size incase of needing it as his neocate is thickened to help with silent reflux, but this hasn't helped. Any advice would be great!
Is this typical of a CMPA baby or has he suddenly gone off these bottles
