My 5.5 week old has had a cold (I think) for almost 2 weeks now. He's had a stuffy nose but no other symptoms we've noticed.
The last couple of days, my bf and I have had a sore throat. I don't think we can have caught our baby's cold, as surely the symptoms would have appeared sooner. Besides, we don't have stuffy noses. So, I think we have something new.
Now, I think we've passed the sore throat on to our baby too. He seems to be in pain, and it's very upsetting.
Is there anything we can do? Is it ok for a newborn to have these infections, and how long until he gets better?
We did see the doctor about his cold last week, but she wasn't concerned.
