My son had tymanoplasty (full new ear drum using cartilage from below temple) a few months ago and he is desperate to swim again. He has had a splash in the pool (fully protected, cotton wool, vaseline, swim cap) but he wants to full on swim and to be able to under water.
I'm hoping someone here is experienced in this and will tell me that it is a possibility and soon? We have an appointment soon and I know he's going to want me to check this detail. I am so worried the surgeon is going to say No, no you can't ever!!!
