5 month old with threadworms

Just freaking out. Has anyone had such a young baby with threadworms?
I’ve ran around and cleaned everything, stuff in washing machine. GP appointment at 11:30.
Would just like some reassurance that I’m not a terrible Mumma for this happening?! 😰😥😭

Not at all! Sure baby would put toys etc in its mouth that might have eggs on them from another kid - you can’t dettol everything. Hope you get some treatment for it. I gave treatment to my 18 month old - it said not for under 2 but she’s robust.

GP said he couldn’t give anything to him as he’s under 6 months. So having to ride it out and clean absolutely everything. I’m worn out!
