My 10 month old DS has covid and has come up with a horrible rash. We have a GP appointment later but wondering if anyone has any ideas.
It looks incredibly inflamed and he has been scratching. He’s a bit prone to eczema and I’m worried the Covid has caused some kind of autoimmune response, maybe dermatitis herpetiformis but I understand that would be rare in babies (I have coeliac so there is family link). He has the rash on hands and feet and a bit around his face and elbows/knees.
