DD wet cough

DD, age 4, has had a wet phlegmy cough for coming up to two weeks, since recovering from a virus. No fever or other symptoms now, phlegm is clear or light coloured (when she rarely coughs it up, oh how I wish she would cough it up).

She's not bothered by it generally day to day, but has attacks for tens mins or so maybe once or twice and that really bothers her.

She's just started a new school so I am keen for her to remain there while she is physically well (except for the cough). But is two weeks normal? NHS online says three weeks then GP. But as a mum I obviously worry.
