Delaying vaccinations?

I have a 5 week old who has recently spent a week in hospital seriously ill with simultaneous bronchiolitis and chickenpox 😔

I forgot to ask while we were in whether it would be worth delaying his 8 week vaccinations to allow him to fully recover? As he has an awful cough and I was told this could last several weeks.

Has anyone delayed these vaccinations because their child was poorly? His poor immune system has taken such a battering already!

Yes but we were told to when we turned up on the day and his lymph nodes were up. I’m in Scotland so it’s probably run different but can you not text your health visitor to ask or phone the immunisation team?
