Sick 15 month old

Hi my boy spiked a temp last night, 39.9. I think it's been working on him for a few days. Anyway he's just woke up from his nap and he seems to be twitchy at points. At first I thought its was me as he was sitting on my knee and you know when you sit on a nerve well it was like that. He is also almost pausing when breathing. He's full of the cold. Have rung the gp and waiting on a call back. Any ideas?

HAs he still got a temperature?

It was 38.5 at last check. I've been alternating calpol and nurophen

Hi gp said viral, just been to check on him and he's literally jittering. Temp 38.2.Gave him calpol and he's vomiting it back up🥺temp now 38.5. will out of hours be able to help or will I have to ride it out?any advise welcome

I would call 119 for advice but if the temperature doesn't go down with medicine I would go to A&E.

Could be febrile convulsions? I'd call 111 or go to A&E

Hi he has a chest infection. Dr said it probably started viral but has gone into his chest. So he has antibiotics.

Doctor is covering their own back. It's always viral apparently! Glad they got him on some antibiotics.

He now has a hacking cough🥺 he seemed better but has fell of a cliff again...poor lamb
