8month old falling off bed

Hi, I’m looking for some advice no hate please .my 8m old son fell from the bed(he landed on carpet) he cried for about a minute then stopped after some cuddles. I rang 999 anyways as I was worried and they sent the ambulance around they checked him over and said everything seems fine and told me what to look out for. It’s being a week since the fall and he seems a bit irritable and less smiley but I’m not sure if it’s because he’s teething too. He does still have some smiles and giggles. He’s still playing with his toys however he doesn’t seem as happy and interactive. He’s also a bit more quieter then usual but we have had a a bit of a bug. I’ve being keeping a eye on him wondering weather to take him to the doctors. But I don’t want to seem stupid if it’s just because he’s teething. He’s still eating and drinking the same too. I’m just looking to see if anyones had a Similar experience and everything has being ok?😞

Is he your first? It's understandable that you'll be worried and you're doing the right thing keeping an eye on him.

Is he generally eating well, sleeping (teething permitting) and filling nappies? Is he showing an aversion to bright lights or sleeping more than usual? When you handle/cuddle him is he crying as if in pain? Was it a particularly high bed he fell from?

Also, what prompted you to call 999?

Why did you call 999?
