Hand, foot and mouth ?

DD (6) hasn't been herself for a week, raised temp on and off (higher over the past 3 nights, but only at night), off her food, not sleeping, now snotty (as of 2 days ago). Sick this morning but just once (she did drink lots of orange juice on an empty stomach and is very snotty, she's often sick when she's snotty).

She was itching her hand earlier and I've noticed she's got spots on it that to me look like hand, foot and mouth, but nowhere else, not even the other hand. Could it still be HFM?

It could well be. My son had it once and usually more spots on hands and feet will appear. He also had some up his lower legs. They turned to sore blisters with him. Had to call the doctor for confirmation though so maybe worth asking? I ended up with it too . Here's what it was like on us

DD had it last year and it did look very much like this, but was on both hands, feet, mouth, round nose and bottom! Got a doctors appointment soon as worried about her high temp - she's had it on and off for 10 days now and the past 5 consecutive nights

Yes definitely worth a check with the gp. It's horrible when they're poorly 😞 I hope she feels better soon
