Hiya, this might be a long one but will try to keep it short.

My son was born January 2019, I always felt like he was that little bit behind with everything but things have improved, he knows all his numbers, colours, does puzzles independently and his speech is good but we started potty training at 2 1/2, it took him a week to get it and since then we have phases where it goes really bad but also phases of minimal accidents. He's 4 in January and he's had 3 accidents today. I'm not frustrated or mad but sad in a way and at times I think: is it me? Have I done something wrong? Am I missing something?

Should I seek help or is it too early?

Please share your thoughts Flowers

Bump - I might get someone who knows a bit more about this.

Have you ever had an extended period where he was completely accident free?

Is he just busy and forgets? Can you notice the signs that he needs to go eg jiggling around, and remind him to go quickly?

You may need to go back to sending him at regular timed intervals.
