My 9mo is practicing walking and fell backwards and hit his head on my hard wood floor because I failed to catch him properly. He didn't cry but winged for a second but was perfectly happy after a cuddle.
It didn't seem that hard, and I think he sort of landed on his bum first before hitting head on the floor, which I suppose broke the fall.
I've looked up all the signs of concussions in babies and he seems completely fine so far. But I keep thinking that I remember seeing info that if a baby falls from a sofa or bed then you should get them checked out. My baby is well above 99th percentile for height, so is taller than a sofa seat or a bed!
Should I be taking him to A&E just in case? It's an hour's drive away and I don't want to waste their time if I'm being a silly FTM, but equally I'm scared that he might be hurt
