Wondered if anyone has experience in the following please.
I noticed that my daughter has a sort of split on the roof of her mouth near her back left teeth. It’s not very big, no bigger than a pea. It looks like the skin has split slightly almost eye shaped with a white strip in the middle. Only noted it because I was checking her teeth, she says it does not hurt but has been there for a 4 months with no change in shape or size. I took her to the doctor, though ended up being a nurse who didn’t really say much about it and suggested we go see a dentist if we were worried. We took her to the dentist but unfortunately she was to scared to let the dentist have a good look. The dentist has referred us to the hospital to have it checked but am waiting for the letter to say the next stages. As it’s been their for a while and we are waiting to here from the hospital I wondered if anyone else had experience with something similar in their child’s mouth.
