Central sleep apnea in baby??

Does anyone have experience of this please??

I'm quite an anxious person so I'm stressing. I am waiting for a call back from the doctors but was just wanting to see if anyone here had experience.

Dd is nearly 7 months. The last few days she's been oddly sleepy during the day. She usually has 3 naps during the day but they tend to be quite short. She's not been sleepy in the sense that she's falling asleep easily, she's just sleeping more and for much longer. She also let me put her down today and didn't wake which is unheard of for her (she doesn't sleep while being held, but I usually feed her to sleep laying down on the bed as we cosleep, so I don't 'put her down').

I thought maybe it was teething, growth spurt or she's getting ill. But last night my boyfriend woke me up because her breathing was really weird - I was half asleep so don't remember the pattern properly but I think it was a few short (but loud) breaths/gasps, almost the way you breathe when sobbing, and then a pause in breathing. She did it maybe 15 times. I tried to wake her a bit and she didn't really wake but her breathing went back to normal.

She has also had these weird episodes of shaking (arms and hands) over the past month or so (which I've already spoken to dr about and we've been referred to a paediatrician). I don't know if this could be related and be symptoms of some kind of nervous system issue. Just feel frightened 🙁 really appreciate any guidance/support, thank you

I can't help but would suggest recording/ filming any odd episodes,it will really help the doctors.

Thanks @yikesanotherbooboo I do have recordings of the shaking which I showed them. Will definitely make sure to record the breathing if it happens again
