Chicken pox?

My DD has a couple of these red, raised bumps on her body. They're not bothering her, she's got not fever, has acted like a total asshole all day but otherwise fine - she's nearly 3 so tantrums are the norm.
She goes to a childminders 4 days a week so socialises with other children, possible exposure there.
Not looking for medical advice but rather experience - does this look like the start of CP? She's got one on her arm, back, couple on her face, couple on her bum/thigh but no more that I can see.

It looks like it could be. Difficult to tell from a photo but you'll know by the morning as there will be more if it's chicken pox. I can highly recommend a bath in head and shoulders if it does turn out to be chicken pox. It really reduces the inflammation of the spots and calms everything down a bit. Don't forget to avoid ibuprofen and give Calpol instead. Piriton might help if it's itchy and if there are any spots that are struggling to dry up (inside my dd's nappy seemed to struggle) then sudocrem works well. Good luck x

@Rachierach11 thought as much - will have a look how she is in the morning. We don't have a bath but a very large walk in shower which she will happily play in so I may lather her in head & shoulders whilst she plays for a little bit. Thanks for the tips - really appreciated!

No more spots this morning - if it were CP I assume there definitely would be more st this point? It's 24 hours since I noticed the first spots.

Yeah the spots typically come up over a few days. If they look like they have little white/yellow pustules within the current spots then it could still be I guess but sounds like you're in the clear Smile

They look more like flea bites
