Cross eyed

Hi, I hoping for some advice please.
My DS 7 has started to go cross eyed it's only started happening recently.
I did have him at the opticians a few months ago and advised he was fine.
But since then it's been summer holidays and if I'm at work and grandparents are looking after him and his siblings he'll be on his iPad or switch all day.
I know that is not good - but is it too much screen time that is causing it or something else?
Should I take him back to the opticians or a doctor?

It depends on the area - where do you live?

If he has seen the optician in the past 12 months then you will probably have to pay unless you see the GP first and they advise you that that is what you need to do.
I recently had similar with my DD although she has strabismus but her symptoms seemed to worsen.

I would speak to the optician about your concerns and ask if they would charge for another test.

I'd go gp and request opthomology appointment (sp?)My dd developed a lazy eye age 3 she needed an operation it was all done through hospital never saw optician .

Don’t ignore new symptoms. Optician or GP will refer to an ophthalmologist for a full assessment.

Thanks guys.
I've made an appointment with the opticians but I'll ring my gp in the morning too. Just want to get the ball rolling and get him checked asap.
