We are halfway into our holiday in Tenerife and tonight DS 5 went to bed fine and woke after midnight and vomited everywhere. He has been sick several times since and says once he's been sick he feels better. No temp or diarrhoea. Just says his tummy hurts.
Should I be concerned?
I'm thinking tummy bug but I also have bad health anxiety and being away from home abroad I'm feeling quite anxious and worried.
I googled and it came up with E. coli and I'm now sat watching him as I'm so anxious.
He has been eating all of the same food as us in the restaurant, but I'm kicking myself for giving him cucumber and tomato's 😩

E. coli would have temp. It is probably just a bug. Keep encouraging fluids and maybe get doctor number from hotel etc as reassurance.

I would expect to see diarrhoea in E.coli and I think the cramps with it are pretty severe, keep up the fluids (use a teaspoon or syringe if sips are too much, 5mls every 15 minutes) and watch for dehydration.
