Wet dog

Bit of a weird one ...but my 5 month old DD smells like wet dog? We don't have a dog, she is washed/bathed regularly and her bedding is changed often enough?
My older DD never smelt like this?

Sat here feeding DD who smells sweaty as per usual and now you say it, it does smell a bit like wet dog!

Does she have cradle cap by any chance? After I cleared DD's she completely lost her smell, now its come back a bit, the smell is back.

I actually secretly like it, must be a weird hormone thing, I love sniffing her!

Thank you for your reply, that could actually be it! I have been trying to get rid of her cradle cap the last couple of days.
Hoping the smell passes once it's all gone. Glad I'm not going mad 🤣

I used coconut oil on it and it worked a treat!
